Product features and applications
1. Key Features
① Material Properties (ASTM A148 Standard)
High-Strength Low-Alloy Steel (Grades 80-50, 90-60, 105-85)
Tensile Strength: 550-725 MPa (Grade 80-50) up to 725-930 MPa (Grade 105-85)
Yield Strength: 345-550 MPa
Impact Toughness: 20-40 J at -29°C (varies by grade)
Heat Treated (Quenched & Tempered) for optimized hardness (HB 200-300) and wear resistance.
② Wear & Fatigue Resistance
Chromium-Molybdenum (Cr-Mo) Enhanced – Resists abrasion from bark, dirt, and log friction.
Hardened Surface Options – Flame or induction hardening for contact surfaces (up to HRC 50).
③ Precision Casting & Machining
Sand or Investment Casting – Complex geometries with minimal post-machining.
Dimensional Accuracy (±1mm tolerance) for smooth log rolling.
④ Corrosion Protection
Galvanized or Painted Coatings – For outdoor/wet environments.
Stainless Steel Cladding (Optional) – Extreme corrosion resistance.
2. Applications in Logging & Forestry
✔ Log Debarking & Conveying Systems
Debarker Rollers – Withstands abrasive bark removal.
Feed Rollers – Guides logs into sawmills.
✔ Sawmill & Planer Machinery
Log Positioning Rollers – Aligns logs for cutting.
Cant Rollers – Supports squared timber during milling.
✔ Forest Harvesting Equipment
Feller Buncher Rollers – Handles heavy log dragging.
