Oil leakage inspection and elimination of supporting wheels
Nov 19, 2024| 1. During the installation process, strict inspection should be carried out according to the technical requirements of the parts to maintain cleanliness and prevent impurities from entering the installation surface. Especially the sealing end face of the sealing ring, even small dust particles can damage the seal and cause oil leakage.
2. The sealing sleeve and sealing rubber ring need to be replaced with new ones due to aging, deformation, scratches, cracking, etc.
3. When the spring elasticity is insufficient, it should be replaced. If the end face is uneven, it can be ground flat. When the pressure ring is warped, it should be repaired and leveled, and sharp edges should be removed.
4. The contact between the large and small sealing rings is not tight, and they can be re ground to create a uniform and continuous grinding ring. Do not hit the end face of the ring or disturb the mating ring. The thickness of the ring should be consistent, otherwise it needs to be replaced.
5. The thickness of the rubber ring is not sufficient. It is allowed to wrap it with asbestos rope to achieve a tightness of/0.15~0.20 kilograms per square centimeter.
6. Axle bending, out of roundness, or neck wear, as well as wear on the hub of the supporting wheel and the mating area of the sealing shell, must all be repaired.
7. When the bearing and sealing ring are worn flat, a 2-4 millimeter thick oil resistant rubber ring can be placed between the sealing sleeve and the wheel hub end face according to the degree of wear. After installation, the sealing sleeve assembly should be able to rotate freely on the wheel hub. In addition, a washer with an outer diameter of 100 millimeters, an inner diameter of 85 millimeters, and a thickness of 1.5 millimeters can be placed between the outer ring of the bearing and the support shoulder of the sealing housing to compensate for bearing wear. When the height of the sealing sleeve is less than 32 millimeters and the width of the bearing is less than 41 millimeters, a new product should be replaced.
8. The paper pads on the supporting wheels should be kept intact and undamaged, with appropriate thickness.
