Drive shaft inspection
Nov 09, 2024| (1) Check the dust cover on the drive shaft for cracks, damage, leaking sleeves, loose dust cover clamps, etc. If any damage is found, replace the dust cover and dust cover clamps.
(2) Check the cage for wear and movement.
(3) Twist the drive shaft by hand, and there should be no looseness between the shaft and the cage.
(4) Check for wear or damage to the shaft splines.
(5) Ensure that the drive shaft is not twisted or cracked, and replace it if necessary.
